芋頭糕
Our Taro Cake is made with finely shredded taro and savoury seasonings, steamed to create a soft interior with a lightly firm bite. A yum cha classic, it is valued for its mild sweetness and comforting flavour. Traditionally enjoyed steamed or pan fried, it is a staple dish that brings balance to the yum cha table.
Keep frozen at –18 °C. Do not refreeze once thawed.
Pan Fry Cake
Slice into 1.5-2cm thick pieces. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add frozen pieces and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden, or heated through.
Steam 10-12
Place frozen pieces in a lined steamer. Steam over rapidly boiling water for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
